New Gmail Skinning Website is Finally Up

Vince McMahon News, Christian, Heyman; & More Notes

The Wall Street Journal has a story up on executives abusing company jets for personal trips. They mocked Vince McMahon for using the WWEjet for his "personal safety."

Tommy Dreamer and Christian will be on the Byte This program next week, with Paul Heyman appearing on June 8th to promoted the ECW 'One Night Stand' PPV.

New Controversial ECW Promo?; Rock Update, New WWE Diva

Former ECW World champion "The Franchise" Shane Douglas will be making his debut for Ring of Honor on 6/12 at the ROH matinee at the Supper Club in New York City, the afternoon of the ECW One Night Stand PPV. ROH announced that they have "given Douglas the platform to speak on June 12th. Douglas says this will be a promo that every ECW fan needs to hear."

There is an article at IGN.com (filmforce.ign.com) about The Rock's new film "Gridiron Gang", a movie starring The Rock and hip-hop rapper Xzibit. The film is directed by Phil Joanou and is based on a true story about a football team created within a juvenile detention center (sound familiar?). (IGN.com)

Even More On TNA TV; Possible National Monday Slot?

As reported, next week's episode of TNA Impact is slated to be the final episode on Fox Sports Net for the time being since their current deal expires and neither side has shown interest in renewing.

TNA is in ongoing talks with WGN but a deal has not been reached yet. The deal being discussed would give TNA a weekday primetime slot, possibly even on Monday night against RAW.

Talks continue with Spike TV as well but even if a deal is reached, Spike TV likely wouldn't start airing TNA until their new fall schedule starts. Not having a TV show on through the entire summer while still running PPVs could be a risky thing to do on TNA's end. The WGN deal would get TNA back on TV right away.

WWE/ECW PPV Ticket Trouble; & Foley/ECW PPV Update

Thanks to the PWTorch Newsletter for the following:

-- The $200 tickets for WWE’s ECW PPV have been dropped to $100. This means that many fans who initially paid $150 for tickets, will end up sitting behind fans who recently paid just $100. Obviously, this will upset quite a few fans who paid for the $150 seats.

-- Despite Vince McMahon bringing up Mick Foley’s name on RAW when talking about ECW, as of last week Mick Foley had still not committed to the event. However, things could have recently changed. More on this as we get it. McMahon did not outright advertise Foley for the event, he just referred to him as someone who did travel through ECW before debuting in WWF.

Google Satellite Maps Now Cover the World

Google has expanded its satellite map coverage to all continents. This expansion only applies to the satellite imagery, not the road maps. So far, you cannot zoom into the added imagery more than 40%-45%.

Big News: TNA Done With FSN. Last Show This Friday. Future Plans

eWrestling News [Big News: TNA Done With FSN. Last Show This Friday. Future Plans ]

It appears TNA's run on the Fox Sports Network will end with this Friday's episode of Impact!, scheduled for 5/27 at 4 PM. Impact! is not listed for the following Friday 6/3 on Fox Sports, with the timeslot instead filled by "The World Series of Darts."

Further, WGN has no wrestling shows scheduled through June so unless there is a last minute change, TNA will be without TV for some time.

Jeff and Jerry Jarrett will be appearing at a screening of "Lipstick & Dynamite" this Friday 5/27 at 7 PM at the Belcourt Theatre in Nashville, TN.

Systm Launches to HUGE sucess.

Kevin Rose's new web project, "Systm" is now available online. This launched Monday, and the site has been near impossible to get to, but things seem to be working out fine now.

Also, it was announced this past week on This Week in Tech and again Monday night on "Attack of the Show!" that Kevin Rose and G4 will be parting ways. Kevin Has been unhappy with his position in the company, and wishes to put his efforts in Systm, and new eppisodes of The Broken.
